Renee Remigio has been writing for as long as she could hold a crayon.  Renee's previous novels, illustrated novels, articles, journals, poems and essays, are all boxed in her mother's guest room.  Self-care and Disaster is Renee's first published compilation of her blog entries about struggling and embracing the anguish of mental health in a culture that otherwise shames and shuns its expression.  Renee resides in sunny downtown Hamilton, Ontario, with her fiancé Jordan Hallin-Williamson and their three rescued fur-babies, Dante, Virgil and Little Weirdo.
